If reseating of the toner and Restart the printer dos not clear, replace the Drum Cartridge that corospond to the failed color.
Did anyone in this thread manage to resolve it themselves? I'm having the same issue with the C405 Magenta and no amount of cleaning, leaving it off, shaking the toner or using genuine toner etc is helping.
When you insert cartridge it pushes a white spring back so what I did was I removed cartridge pushed the spring back with my finger and with the keyboard spray I cleaned it as well as with wipes several times. Then walla it detected the new cartridge.
The engine is similar to a 6655. I would try a new cyan drum unit otherwise call a tech in.
It would then seem that the Cyan cartridge is broken, it would need to be replaced, depending on life of it, I would call Xerox and ask about reimbursement.
Thanks - Toner shaken, carefully, lol, and reinserted. Still no luck.
Could be a faulty toner, or it is in a room with too high a humidity (Toner clumped up)
Try shaking the toner before putting it back in.
Do not shake it hard, be very careful.
Error asks to reinsert Cyan ink cartridge and restart. Completed, multiple times, cannot get error to clear or print.
