I fixed the issue on my mac by downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and going selecting 'Print As Image' under File->Print->Advanced-> Print As Image
We found the advanced printing feature, disabled this but the strange postscript errors are still there, not for every document, it looks like it is random...
We have the same problem on Xerox 7845, from cups (linux) always if you print more than 3pages.
We have it only sometimes when printing in Word&Excel, never twice with the same file.
Sorry, but where could I find the "advanced printing features" in the web interface?
Is it still there in the new firmware?
Actually i have this issue as well.
Print Spooler: 2008r2 sp1
Models of Printeers, 7545, 6400, 6360, 4250, 4510
Driver: Xerox Global Print Driver
We are getting this error on all of our printers... We have tried to disable the advanced printing features, but that has not worked
We have tried to set the port settings to 1gb full, instead of auto auto
we have tried to update to the latest global print driver
only solution that seems to help, is to reset the printer, and this is only a temporary fix, as the prolem will come back with 1-2 days
anyone else have any suggestions
from my understanding , if that option is turned of, you are using windows to spool the data instead of the xerox driver.
it is posible you loose finishing options like booklet, n-up printing...
you can check if you still have those options, if they are still present, then you are lucky :)
if not, you can create an extra driver with that option still turned on , for making booklets if needed
Hi Fabio,
this solves the problem. Do you have any idea why I can print the document when this option is disabled?
Thanks in advance!
have you tried disabling : "advanced printing features" , you can find it if you open the printer properties, then the tab advanced, that at the bottom you can unchech that option
Hi,
I'm using a Xerox WorkCentre 7545 with the Postscript driver. Serveral users report that they get the message "ERROR: limitcheck OFFENDING COMMAND:" when printig a Word document. The document has 50 pages and after page 10 the printer stops with the error message. I have tried to break up the document in pieces, but after 10 pages the printer stops. It doesn't matter if you print page 1-10 or 11-20 etc.
The print spooler is on a Windowws 2003 server. The client is Windows 7 with Office 2007.
Any ideas?
