ERROR: rangecheck OFFENDING COMMAND: setapplicationname

Hello!

 

I'm trying to print in a Xerox Phaser 5550N but anything i tried it prints a paper with the same error:

 

ERROR: rangecheck (COMMAND TYPE: operatortype)

OFFENDING COMMAND: setapplicationname "setapplicationname"

What driver and what Operating system?

Offending Commands typically imply bad Postscript code, but it should not apply to every job, just bad ones (or with non-default driver settings possibly)

 

So verify the 5550 is found in the GPD you have now

And if it is, try either a fresh install with a new port, or switch to the PCL GPD, which will get rid of PS code all together.

5550 is already selected in GPD.

So i changed the GPD from PS to PCL6 and works!
