Enable meter supplies

Operating System: Windows 7 x64
Hi all
My secondhand printer asks for a 4 digit PIN and " Enable Meter supplies"
This machine had meter supplies installed. I want to know how to get around the prompt "Enable meter supplies". It won't get into print mode
