Re: Error 016-519

Thank Tammy -L

It is actually me in that thread last year ( page 2!) I never managed to solve the problem and I gave up at the time after trying so many things.

So here I am trying again because I have this big Xerox machine in my little flat and nothing i can do with it.

This Error 016-519 is a real pain.

This glitch came up just after it was out of 1 year warranty! To get it 'fixed' by Xerox costs a lot more than buying the printer new again.

But if I can't work this out i'll have to let this printer go. A real conundrum ! I dont want to waste it.

Error 016-519

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: macOS 10.12 - Sierra

Ive been trying to solve this for a long time.

Getting this error code 016-519 which is when prints reach 1000.

I logged in as admin and have set prints to unlimited, doesn't make any difference.

I have tried updating software, when i run through the install it says updated but on the systmem webpage it doesn't show the update ( updates are also on)

I have done 'reset to factory defaults' (this doesn't reset the count)

Is there a hard reset I can do that will reset the count ?

I am really stuck...  any help would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance

Kate
