Error 016-764 in scan to e-mail and 031-528 in network scan with SMB protocol.
We have configured scan to e-mail on a xerox docucentre sc2020 printer with all the network parameters: IP, Mask, Gateway, DNS, Email address, Password, Domain, SMTP mail server address, Port. At the end, we have an error 016-764, the client uses office365.
For network scan, we have error 031-528 when everything is set up correctly: the sharing parameters, the firewall, the shared folder with all read / write rights, the IP address or name of host without success
What could it be?
The FC 016-764 means it connected but then got an invalid response from the mail server (Printer gets confused and just stops)
I know we have seen some issues crop up with Google Cloud Print lately, so wondering if this is the same issue you are experiencing.

I was able to solve the problem of the code 016-764 in scan to mail.
It was necessary for the address of the smtp mail server to put: SMTP.office365.com, the port: 587, the electronic address assigned to the printer and password of this address without authentication.
