I have tried these steps before. As I said the scanner went faulty many months ago and i couldnt resolve the issue by following the steps you've suggested.

My issue is that despite the scanner issues, I have been using the unit as a standalone printer. And now I've lost that functionality too but cant see why.

In any case, another error has appeared today.... 042-398

Hello BoomCH,

Any 060 fault is related to the Scanner. You can try these steps to resolve, but you may very well need a service call: 1-800-821-2797 (USA)

Error 060-310

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi all hope someone can help.

Apologies as I have posted this elsewhere on this site also but think it was in the wrong place.

Having had multiple issues with the above printer, I am now faced with error 060-310 which i am led to believe is some sort of warm up failure? Im not sure what this means and hope someone can shed some light on it before I completely lose it and throw this thing out of a 3rd floor window.

The printer is around 20 months old. The scanner stopped working around 12 months in and the unit permanently displays errors 062-380 and 062-386 ( I know this is scanner related). Despite this I have been using the unit as a printer only until I got the above error. Now it wont allow me to print at all.

Someone please help
