I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist and request a service technician. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.

We have had this printer in our office for a few years as our main printer. At the beginning of the year it started popping up constantly with Fault 071-101. However, there is no paper jam whatsoever. Trust me, I've argued with printers for years, I know how to find a paper jam!
We have since discovered that if we do not put a whole reem in the paper tray, it prints fine. It's annoying though because we now have to top up the paper much more frequently.
I contacted Xerox when this started happening and they told me I would have to go through the people we purchased it from to book a repair. However, the place we purchased it from now states that Xerox does not allow them to book repairs on a customer's behalf.
I've cleaned all parts of the printer I can access without dismantling it, this did not help.
Is this a common problem with the C605 after a couple of years? Is there an easy fix that I haven't thought of? Or is this something I should keep pressing for an engineer to come out and look at?
