Re: Error Code 018-400

018-400
[Cause] When IPSec is enabled, there is an inconsistency in IPSec settings as follows:
The password is not set when [Authentication Method] is set to [Preshared Key].

An IPSec certificate is not set when [Authentication Method] is set to [DigitalSignature].

[Remedy]Check the IPSec settings, and enable IPSec again:
When [Authentication Method] is set to [Preshared Key], set the password.
When [Authentication Method] is set to [Digital Signature], set an IPSec certificate.

My guess here, is that IPsec got enabled by accident, if that is the case, just shut it off, I don't have the printer in question, but the menu map tells me it would be in Admin Menu > Network/Port > IPsec Communication

Of course if you need it enabled, you have to start diagnosing by certificates and the time/date of the machine

Error Code 018-400

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi there,

This morning, I got an error code, the first one since I've got the printer. I'ts 018-400. Can't really find something, printer isn't giving any information. Did a firmware update 2 weeks ago, but it worked ever since..

Regards,

Jacco
