I followed the procedure to update the firmeware of WorkCenter 6505. After finishing the procedure, the error message appeared on the printer.
Then I tried to reboot prienter but I still have the message. Is it possible to fix the problem?

Are you sure there is 116-317? Because I did not find anywhere this fault code.

The error code is in reference to the optional memory card. This issue can arise if you have installed the optional memory card or installed a third part RAM. Reseating and then replacing the memory card are the only troubleshooting options.

Did you found a solution for this issue? I have the same issue with a 6605DN which give fault message 116-317 after a firmware update. The firmware update i found on Xerox support page is the one which update through "Xeroxfmup.exe". That program can not find the printer now. Is it possible to put the file (like drm files) on a USB stick and start with?
Same problem after firmware update interrupted by electric shut down ! Any solution ?
