You must purshase a Postscript Feature Coupon from Xerox.
Hi,
I've been facing similer issue while installing 510 driver on Linux (Debian).
As linux required PPD file for installing the driver, we were not able to find any PCL / HPGL drivers PPD File. We tried insting PS drive (as its folder contain PPD file), printer got installed but while printing test page we used to get error/warning page saying "Post script driver not installed".
Any way to install drive on Linux?
I tried to install Windows Add Printer Tool for this printer. (Installation was successful)
Yeah it was installed as shown in attached pictures. Yeah i install it using IP Address.
I am able to install printer on windows 7 using XFAInstaller.exe or the Add Printer Wizard but still unable to print. I am sending a test print to printer but it's not printing and is pending in queue jobs in printer. After sometime getting Error in printing.
What could be possible reasons ?
on windows XP it's showing Synergix Print System 510dp driver while on Windows 7 it is showing Wide-Format Scan System drivers.
Is there any issue in drivers ?
Make sure you select correct serial number (HFT vs YKE). You should be able to install the drivers.
Also under the documentation you should be able to find out where to plug the feature installation key for PS.
edit: I've attached in this post
I believe this product is end of service/support.
While there is a XP Installed Computer which has this printer installated with drivers : Synergix Print System 510dp
Printer Model is : Synegix Copy System 510DP
Secondly, i have cerificate for Postscript feature Key Code with Coupin ID. If you can guide me to use it. Would be great as well
