The error could be a few things. If you have purchased metered cartridge and you have a NON-metered machine, then that could cause the error. Also if you have purchase a European cartridge and installed it into a North American machine, that may also cause the issue.
I forum , I've a big issue with a phaser6510 printer (registred)
I've bought a generic black cartridge (many in fact) , those were not recognized by the printer (error compatibility) , so I've by a original one (xerox branded) and this the same issue , The printer is less than 5000 copy old.
I've think i've made all I can do ( unplug the printer , wait for ten minutes , all combinations with removing/insert cartridges , update the firmware ...)
I'm very disapointed by the quality of the product because It's expensive and doesn't work , more over , this product wasting my time ...
Is there any solution ?
