Exactly, without this kit you will not be able to use PDF-direct printing.

no my printer not have install the Productivity kit, no my printer not have install the Productivity kit, I need install this kit for this functionality, not exist some way if is not installed this kit.

This is what I could find:

Productivity Kit (includes 40 GB Hard Drive) enables Secure/Proof/Personal/Saved Print, Hard disk collation, Print With, PDF-direct printing, Extended font/form storage.

The Productivity kit is optional, do you have it installed?

I have a Xerox Phaser 5550 that I am trying to do a direct pdf print from application developed on java. I get an error "this printer is not configured to support direct PDF printing". Is this something that needs to be enabled? How would I enable this?
