Re: Error: undefined ; Offending command: "unreadable characters"

Sorry, I don't know how to fix it. The 6515 can't be altbooted, and Xerox doesn't publically disclose Diagnostics mode on any device.

Re: Error: undefined ; Offending command: "unreadable characters"

Hello,

Startup page was already disabled.

I installed the new firmware today (former version was 65.31.81), but unfortunately this didn't solve the issue.

2 Pages came out right after installing, error page first, software upgrade report (which said OK) second.

Do you know any other things I can try, exept an RMA?

Re: Error: undefined ; Offending command: "unreadable characters"

Firmware would appear to be corrupted, that page must be the startup page, and for it to print wrong would imply an issue with the firmware. Safest thing would be a reload the firmware, but if it is working fine, just disable the startup page.

Re: Error: undefined ; Offending command: "unreadable characters"

You must have misunderstood me. There is no driver involved exept the firmware of the printer.

This page comes out every time I power the printer on (e.g. plugging in and pushing power button) , without any interaction with other computers or smartphones, right while/after it is booting.

While printing there seems to be no problem, but after powering off and powering on again the same error page gets printed.

Kind Regards

Tobias

Reinstall the driver

Error: undefined ; Offending command: "unreadable characters"

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Not Applicable

Hello,

my Printer is printing an Error message in red after every time I turn the printer on and I don't know how to solve it:

Error as following:

ERROR: undefined (COMMAND TYPE: nametype)

OFFENDING COMMAND: /  "crosshair" "crossed out 1"

I will attach a photo of the full error page as the characters in offending command are not usual.

Error pageError page

For better readability the error page is converted to black and white, but the original is red on white.

Can somebody help me solve these error?

Kind regards

Tobias
