Uninstall the GPD and clean install the Win 7.

Thank you for your response--it's very helpful.

I have tried to change the driver under Printer Properties to the Windows 7 driver, but I get an error message each time I try.

Any suggestions on how to get past this problem?

The current GPD doesn't support the Phaser 77XX so they won't be an option. The Phaser 7760 stopped being sold in January 2012 and is now completely out of development.

The Windows 7 driver still works fine though

If for some reason you need to use the GPD, you will need to find a much older version hosted somewhere.

Extra paper trays not recognized with Global Driver

Jump to solution
Product Name: Phaser 7760
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I recently bought a new laptop running Windows 10 Pro 1803 and when I install the Global Print driver, I can't configure the driver to recognize the extra trays. On my previous laptop, I bypassed this issue by using the old Windows 7 PS driver, which would recognize the 7760 as a GX model.

How can I tell the Global driver about the paper trays? I've tried both v3 and v4 driver with no luck.
