Re: File PPD /Planetpress not color

That would depend on how you set it up, likely the duplex feature is missing, but the why would depend on how you are using it.

It could be getting trashed due to a policy set in CWIS.

And if you are using the ppd to configure a device, but actual using a PCL data stream for the print, you may be using HP code and not Xerox code.

Re: File PPD /Planetpress not color

Sorry, I'm not going to go looking up each products ppd for you when you can do it yourself.

Go to Xerox.com and look up each device and grab a ppd for each device.

Re: File PPD /Planetpress not color

Generic GPD ppd does not do color because it doesn't know the machine supports color.

The machine specific PS ppd does do color

File PPD /Planetpress not color

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

(Sorry I do not speak English)

PlanetPress software

Machine: 8900/7120/7220 / 6600Phaser

PPD: X-GPD_5.496.7.0_PS_x64B

We have the generic PPD to communicate with printers. As against this PPD, there is no option to choose the color / black white. Is this normal? Thank you for your help
