I'm trying to find a home printer that can scan up documents fast. Regular size paper and legal documents. I currently have a Canon MX922. I've had it for about 5 years now I think, maybe longer. The issue I have with it is that it scans documents very slowly. I have to manually put in one page at a time and a single page takes about 3-4 mins per scan.
I'm currently looking for a better printer. I've seen some nice ones that claims to be fast at scanning, but the price range is almost $500 USD. Should I just go a head a buy that one it is a Brother MFC-L8900CDW. Or should I just buy a cheaper one. I don't know if I would be over paying for this one.
I also work mostly from home so my printer/scanner is in use very often.
