Just an update to this, it was the stapler module itself causing issues. Not the disposable cartridge but the removable module itself. Our vendor came and simply swapped it out and that solved all of the issues we were having with the finisher tray. I don't know if it was bent or damaged in some way but we haven't had any errors since then.
Hello there,
I found some articles that may help you:
Finisher Main Tray Not Available Message
Fault Code 12-912-00, 312-912, 312.912.00: Finisher Static Jam
I am experiencing some paper jam issues with my finisher tray attached to my Altalink C8130. I can see that the guiding arms for the finisher are coming in too much and scrunching up the paper, causing the jam. I can't seem to find a solution to modify or adjust these as doing it by hand (which I'm sure is the wrong way) doesn't work as they'll just reset to default positions.
It is also telling me the Finisher Main Tray is not available and to notify your system administrator. Well, that's me and I'm still not sure what it's wanting as it still prints to the finisher tray despite it constantly getting jammed.
I have the following fault codes if this helps:
312.912.00 - Make sure horizontal transport cover is closed. Done.
312.928.00 - No idea
312.282.00 - Eject clamp home sensor fail. Need support help.
312.977.00 - Staple Ready Fail in the Optional Office Finisher LX. I've cleared the staples, I can't find anything wrong with the cartridge.
303.777.00 - Power loss detected. I have been powering it off normally, not sure if that's what it is detecting.
I know this looks like a laundry list but I would appreciate some assistance. Everytime our vendor comes out to look at it, there's always a new issue or a previous issue with this machine a week later.
