Hello,
I have managed to make the firmware downgrade to version 061.121.224.18803 after a "Reset All"
on the printer. After the printer installed the firmware and the process was completed. I only changed
the TCP/IP settings to IP v4.
Then for some reason I don't know where the printer has the information over the internet, re-installed
all the previous settings and configs. Where and how does the printer get the information after a "Reset all"?
I just changed the TCP/IP settings on the printer. Nothing more.
I have installed the corresponding printer driver software verison 5.6 for OS X High Sierra. I still
don't get my crop marks aligned on any tray I choose for duplex printing.
Why can't Xerox make a simple firmware update where the printer makes same sample pages and
the user just needs to put the sample prints on the top scanner manually. I mean, this procedure
would be as easy as a pie for software developers to get the perfect paper print results, perfectly
aligned for
Tray 1
Tray 2
Tray 3
Tray 4
Tray 5 Bypass

Hello,
let's see how it works with the flash module hardware/software replacement I've ordered.
I made a factory settings reset by logging in as the admin user on the printer, but,
the old settings were still there after rebooting the printer. There's something not quite
right with this firmware version.

Hello Black_Baron,
I see no one has responded yet, so I would recommend contacting our Support Department at 1-800-821-2797 for more assistance.
Hello,
I came across to a strange firmware software problem by trying to set the values for "dc129 paper registration" correctly so that I can use duplex printing for a specified paper tray (DIN A4, plain paper) and my crop marks on the back and front of my prints do match so that I can use the printer for graphic design purposes as it was built for.
When I change the values on page 2. I can manage the vertical lines on my prints to match correctly after rebooting the printer every time. (Left/Right)
HOWEVER, if I change the values for the horizontal orientation of the crop mark lines (Up/Down for page 2). The crop marks on my A4 test page do randomly appear totally offset (after printer reboot) and I restart from scratch. It's endless paper mess without getting any positive end results after my adjustments. It's like playing an online casino game. It's hours and hours of work without gaining results.
I tried to do a firmware update via the web interface but it doesn't work. I baught the used printer from a private person who works at a certified Xerox reseller in Germany. (Xerovision.de). I don't know what this firmware version is that is on this printer I have baught.
Short said, what can I do to match my crop marks?
