Re: Force Legal to print on Letter

Hi HDHJclark, did you look in the printer settings. There may be an option that says, "When Specified Paper Is Unavailable." You would then choose, Letter/A4 Subsistution. Hopefully, that will force the legal to print on Letter.

Re: Force Legal to print on Letter

Hello HDHJclark,

I searched the online knowledgebase, and the only thing I can find is setting faxes to print from a specific tray, but that would require you to have legal paper installed. You can try and poke around the Fax Default Settings to see if something there may help you.

Thanks,

Force Legal to print on Letter

Product Name: VersaLink B7025/B7030/B7035
Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 x64

Is there a way to force legal print jobs to output on letter paper, scaled? The global print driver appears to have some functionality to make this happen. I have been unsucceful in setting this up. I have dried various settingsi nthe driver on the server, as well as scourted the web interface of the machine.

The underlying issue is a network fax solution server that sometime received fax jobs that it believes are legal. we dont stock legal paper and it happens quite a bit, I am looking for a set it abc forget it solution.

Also, older xerox copiers like the WorkCentre series had the ability at the device to just out put the held job on the paper you had available. The new Versalink B70xx series machines do not appear to have that ability.

Anyone have any solutions?
