Re: Frequent Print Engine Adjusting Temperature

Hello Steve,

One thing you can check is that the environment temperature and humidity is within the proper range for performance.

Thanks,

Frequent Print Engine Adjusting Temperature

Product Name: Xerox iGen 5 Press
Operating System: Not Specified

There are some jobs that we run, variable PDFs to our BookletMaker attached to our iGen 5, that stop very frequently to adjust Print Engine Temperature. This causes the job to take well over 3x the normal time to run a similar run length static job. I don't get it. It's not a processing slow down. Can anyone please explain to me what may be causing this and offer a solution? This is really aggravating. Thanks,

Steve K
