what you can try :
install a new generic driver on lpt1 port
after installing , open up that printer properties , goto advanced tab, change your driver to the new global driver
after changing driver also change your port to the correct tcp ip port
We recently updated all of our Xerox drivers to use GPD PCL6 V2.2 from the 5.246.7.0 driver package. They're working fine on all of our machines, save 1. We have a Windows 7 Pro x64 machine that will not install the driver. Every time I try, it fails with the below error. I've cleaned out all of the old Xerox printers and drivers, still no good. I've cleaned out the gunk left behind in the spooler directory, no help. I can still install other manufacturer printers/drivers, just not the Xerox GPD. Does anyone know of a fix for that?
Thanks
