Hello Jeymax,


I'm sorry that you're having these issues with your Phaser.  First, let's try to fix the ghosting problem and then we'll try to take care of the banding.  For the ghosting issue, does that happen with every job that you print with your Phaser?  Another question, is the Print Quality Mode set to Standard and is Plain Paper set as the Media Type in the driver?

If your machine is setup with these settings, does the output come out correct or is the ghosting still there?

Ghosting and banding

Printouts are poor quality on the Xerox Phaser 6360DN. Symptoms include


  1. a faint secondary image offset a third of the way down the page and
  2. faint horizontal banding or stripes.


The ghosting only involves the grayscale parts of the image. The quality has not improved since installing all new toner cartridges and replacing the transfer roller.
