Graphics have thin lines through them

Thank you for using the Support Forum. See what happens in Acrobat/Reader when you select File > Print > Advanced > Print as image. If adjusting that setting does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

I have a VersaLink C7000 and design using illustrator.

However when I print all of my graphics and text seem to be made up of lines rather than solid block colour.

I save from illustrator to PDF and print from PDF.

Is this how the graphics should print from a laser printer or should they be solid block colours? This is my first laser printer after owning numerous inkjets.
