Re: Group Policy (GPO) will not install print driver on user workstation because of Microsoft update

The fix was to remove the Microsoft update KB3159398.  I use a WSUS server so I had to remove it from the server then from the clients.  All the printers deployed just like normal.

See here

I'm pretty sure both models are out of development, so if the native drivers won't work after you make the linked changes, you would need to use the Xerox Global Driver and set it to Basic Print mode

Group Policy (GPO) will not install print driver on user workstation because of Microsoft update.

I have 2 printer models (6010 and 6505) that have stopped deploying with group policy.  I was told that a Microsoft update is what broke my group policy.  The update made a change to packaged drivers.  I have removed the update but the printers will still not deploy.  Is there a different driver (packaged/not packaged) that I can download to fix this problem?
