Sorry, I no longer have a linux PC to test anything, It's actually been a few years since I have, everything I know pretty much stopped working when Linux Mint started to be a thing.
The issue you describe is common in every OS, and is almost always the fault of an application setting, but without a Linux PC to dig into, and no LibreOffice either, Google is my only recourse.
Hi Joe,
A big thank you for your suggestions.
The problem has not been solved but something seems to have happened on one document I was adjusting as per the links you posted. It is now printing a little larger - but no where near the full size!
Any more suggestions welcome.
very kind regards
If you save as pdf and print that , does it come out in A4?
Because it sounds like the Page Setup option application side is acting up. That is what it would be in the Windows/OSX world when it isn't the driver since that works fine in the other apps.
Hi Everyone, Help!
I have just replaced my 8860 MFP with a spare as the first developed sheet feeding problems. Other than that, printing worked fine.
On connecting the second 8860 MFP, A4 pages as Word or Libreoffice equivalent documents print at a much reduced size - perhaps 1/4 the size that they should.
I have tried creating a new document in case the changeover somehow affected settings, but this has just printed out at a much reduced size too.
PDF documents seem to print at the correct size.
All settings appear ok on A4 etc both on PC and 8860 settings.
What is going on?
Thank you,
Andrew
