HP LaserJet 700 M712 - Setting Admin Password

I am setting up printers at different sites and at one site I am having some difficulties.  When ever I set the admin PW, I cannot logon.  It doesnt give me an error like bad password it just goes back to the screen only showing the information tab and the sign in link.  I tried entering different PW thinking I may have fat fingered it...it does prompt with a bad username or password.  These printers are not local so I had the local admin conect directly to the printer and log in with my password it works fine.  I had him wipe the password and then I am able to regain access.  Again this is happening only at one site..I compared the configuration from my other sites that are working and they are the same.  Any help woud be great.
