Hello AndrewB,
Please take a look at this article for held resources and steps to fix.
Hi, Im not sure whom else is alos having an issue like this but its a strange occurance, please bare with me.
For Tray1 I've set it to Custom Type 1, its A4 white paper
On the computer through its printer driver preferences i've selected the Custom Type 1 and ran a test page, i would then get the below message through the driver;
Queued job needs resources. User intervention is required to supply resources required for one or more queued jobs; jobs will be held until resources are available. Device services are unaffected.
On the printer where it says job held it also indicates that the incorrect tray was selected and not tray 1 as was set on the printer originally - it appears that the driver in the pc did an automatically select for a tray to be used.
From what i've seen is that the custom type 1 setting on the printer is setup only as in a name but on the driver on the pc it doesnt know what tray to select or paper size for custom type 1, they are not aligning their settings with each other.
Can someone explain how exactly how this works
