When Specified paper is unavailable
Change it to Letter/A4 Substitution
You should update the firmware of your printer and maybe then the settings problem will go away. Give it a try !

We had an OKi printer before and never had issues like this. It was a bit outdated but this Xerox is too samrt for its own good.

Hmm. Have you tried to update the firmware of the printer ? Maybe there's some annoying bug that can be fixed through this sort of updating.
