If rebooting fixes it, it would appear to be a bug/glitch.
Update the firmware and hope it goes away, else you would need a tech to wipe it and start fresh.
it has started again, upon restarting its going away but after a few days its happening again and have to restart it, this is causing some paper waste, is there any permanent solution for this?
the problem got fixed by itself and its now working fine, i just restarted the printer.
have you tried to update the printer drive? use the global driver
