Re: High contrast Xerox DC252

The bottom one has too much magenta (Calibration needed) , Top appears to have considerably more contrast than the bottom one, the bottom looks like brightness is more the issue than contrast.

So start with the calibration of the Fiery, then move on to paper if brightness is still a factor, because you won't get close to the top pics quality without 60LB or more Gloss stock with 92 bright or higher

Also make sure you calibrate against the stoick for the job you are doing, and have it selected in the job color options.

But there must be somehow that I can adjust the contrast?

For exemple: this is a picture I want to print, and as you can see is the picture in good quality

Audi-A3-side-angle2436x1552.jpg

And when it is printed it becoes out like this, with too much contrast

I have tried other pictures and the problem is the same. Why is the quality so bad?

Thanks in advance!

If it isn't there, you can't.

You must have CWS5.3 or higher, as well as a Fiery that supports Image enhance, and have it purchased. At least one of those 3 things it would appear you do not have.

EFI- Fiery Image Enhance Visual Editor

I know it cannot be done on the bustled Fiery for the DC242/252/260

I can't verify if the EX260 (External Fiery for the above machines, runs Win XP) can do it as mine is dead atm.

Hi!

When im printing out pictures the contrast is too high. I have read somewhere that the contrast can be adjusted in somthing called "Workflow" in device center, but i don't have it. So how do i lower the contrast in Command workstation?''

This is how it looks like
