Hi Jokate, The B305 is compatible with the Print and Scan Experience. The beauty of Workflow Central (WFC) is that it is device independent. Many WFC users use WFC without using a printer or scanner. You would scan from the B305, choose WFC, and then send your scan to WFC for processing.

However, The Print and Scan Experience and WFC are two different apps and while they can work together, you can use either one independently. The Print and Scan Experience is free but there is a cost to Workflow Central. If I recall correctly, you will get several free scan when using WFC for the first time so you should be able to test how it works without any out of pocket expense.

The translation service of WFC supports doc, docx, jpeg, pdf, png, ppt, pptx, rtf, tiff, txt, xls, and xlsx formats. You simply choose the translate workflow, select up to five languages to translate the document into, and choose the file location.

I really like the XEROX B305 Multifunction Printer. It's a bit larger than I expected, but I don't think that's a critical issue. I'm curious about what you mentioned regarding the Xerox Print and Scan Experience. If I understood correctly, does this app have the capability to translate texts into various languages, even within PDF files? And does it work with the XEROX B305?

Hi Jokate, there are several small devices that can print, copy, fax, and scan. Take a look at this site to see the many models available and which might fit your need the most. I use the C415 but as you are looking at the B230, that may be more than what you are looking for.

While all of the Xerox MFDs on the URL above can support scanning, I would make sure whatever device you choose is compatabile with the Xerox Print and Scan Experience, https://www.xerox.com/en-us/office/software-solutions/xerox-print-and-scan-experience-app. 

In addtion to scanning to your desktop, if you need more advanced scan capabilities, the Print and Scan Experience allows you to access Xerox Workflow Central to supercharge the device capabilities by converting documents to audio, another language, or redacting confidential information.

Hello!

I need your advice. I'm in the process of selecting a printer for my home. I liked the Xerox B230/DNI model. However, I'm also interested in having scanning capabilities. Can you tell me if there are compact printers available that can both print and scan?
