Re: Horrible image quality missing toner

Hi krwilmoth,

Thank you for using the forum.  Please make sure you read over the paper specifications especially the last section about glossy stock.

Make sure you have the correct weight of paper.  The settings in the driver, machine and in the program, if applicable, must have the same paper attributes selected. See also the article called Load and Print on Glossy Paper in the knowledgebase for your printer.

Horrible image quality missing toner

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: Windows 10

I run a sticker business and print on a lot of vinyl and cardstock type paper. I have a kyocera which does well, but after reading the reviews I decided to buy the phaser 6510. I've tried every setting I can and the results are horrendous. I've wasted a ton of paper trying to get it to print a picture. I choose the glossy cardstock setting at the highest level and still terrible. I've attached some photos. Any idea of the best settings? Currently all it will print out is my shipping labels on regular paper. Pretty expensive just to do that. I thought xerox was better quality, but right now a waste of money. This is new out of the box as well so I don't want to hear generic answers. As you can see, blacks are horrible. The red is a little better but splotchy and filmy. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.20210407_162635.jpg20210407_162001.jpg
