Any 2017 update?
Hi it@vrccorp.net,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. I have not been able to locate a way to bulk delete the jobs. Please consider contacting your support centre and ask for second level support for further assistance.
This XEROX WorkCentre 7855 does not print as instructed** and the only way to stop it was to remove all the paper from the bins. It doesn't respond to "STOP." It just keeps going and going and going. That has left over 50 jobs that are "paused" or "waiting for printer." The jobs are NOT in the queue of the originating computer.
Standing before the printer one has to select each print job, wait for a pop-up menu, choose delete, then confirm deletion -- super annoying! This is the only printer I've seen that is unable to perform a DELETE ALL. I'm flabbergasted that something so recently built (i.e., after 1980) is SO limited.
I thought I'd be clever by logging into the printer via Centreware Internet Services... I found the "Jobs" link and was thrilled when I saw all those jobs under the "Active Jobs" tab, but again, Xerox dropped the ball with respect to DELETE ALL! That means some monkey has to select each individual job to delete it. I looked at the code for the page and the JavaScript is clear... line 226 has the comment:
/* unselect the previously selected row */ Seriously?!
I hope being forced to contact a technician isn't the only way to do this. That's like hiring a plumber to flush my toilet... overkill.
** There is a program to print pages of documents using whatever trays the user chooses. The printer ABSOLUTELY MUST print certain pages from the trays specified in the EXACT order the print jobs were received from the originating computer. Any other way screws up the final document. Xerox is the only brand to FAIL at this so far!! RICOH, Lexmark, HP all perform wonderfully.
