Re: How to configure Phaser 4622 to print to manual tray 1 in Windows 7/2008 R2

Print preferences are always done the same no matter the manufacturer, no matter the driver.

Start > Devies and Printers

right-click the printer and go to Printing Preferences and set what ever you want as the local Windows install Preferences.

Then, to set the preferences to the clients go to Start > Devices and printers

Right click and go to Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults and set the preferences how they should appear at the client PC's

How to configure Phaser 4622 to print to manual tray 1 in Windows 7/2008 R2

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi All,

I have downloaded both 32/64 bits printer driver for Phaser 4622 and installed them on Windows 7/2008 R2, but couldn't find where to set the default manual tray 1

I need to print to manual tray (bypass) 1 from Windows application, while printing to tray 2 from RedHat Linux which is working since the default tray is 2.

Neither user or administrator guide touch on setting default tray when setup printer queue, which is a common requirement.

Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

George
