Thanks! It went back from the Windows Printing Experience to a very bare-bones app, but one which had an Advanced Button with the choice to fit to page.
Maybe I did something wrong (or maybe just didn't see the option before) but now it looks like I can use Choose Printer to switch between the universal version and the now-reinstalled Windows Printing Experience version on the same printer, so can use the basic universal driver when I need the scaling feature, and the 'prettier' version when I only need to make other changes.
Hi Inkwolf,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. For this printing issue like this, I recommend you completely uninstall the driver and reboot your computer. Then reinstall the Xerox Print Driver. If you have the same issue you can try installing the Global Print Driver. You can find the Global Print Driver here.
Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance if these option do not fix the issue.
My workplace recently replaced my old computer, and when I tried to use the new printer preferences/options software, there was no longer a way to scale the document to fit the paper size.
Do I need a different driver or something? Right now my work-around is to save the image and print it separately through the Windows picture printer, but that is an awkward extra step and I'd rather be able to print right from my graphics program like I used to.
