How to set in PPD a Jobtypename (Xerox Phaser 7800, Corel X5)

Hallo,

i want to send a Printjob to the HD of my Phaser 7800 from Corel using a ppd datafile.

But how can i set the Printjob-Name? How must I set it in the PPD-File?

If i only select the "saved Print" - Option in the Job Type, the Printer prints the job instead of saving it to the Harddrive :(

Please help me!

Select PPD

 Set to "Saved Print"

Re: How to set in PPD a Jobtypename (Xerox Phaser 7800, Corel X5)

Thanks for Replay!

But I already tried to set it:

*XRXJobName Title/Job Name: "try"
*XRXJobPassword Title/Numeric Password: "1234"

But the Printer prints direkt :(

May be I must set the path on the printers-hd!? But i don't know how. I tried:

*XRXJobName Title/Job Name: "\public\try"

But it won't work.

Anyone any Ideas?

no, dont have a clue

maybe you can try this on a windows system and print a readable pcl file , then you know what is needed for your ps commands? dont know if this will work though....
