Under CentOS 7 I could create print queues using xeroxquemgr like this:
xeroxquemgr copier_315 -oid 220.127.116.11.18.104.22.168.22.214.171.124.5 -uri lpd://172.16.1.5/copier_315 -featuresettings /common/manager/xeroxqueuesettings.dat -uienable
now I'm using CentOS 8, and I find that xeroxquemgr has been replaced by xeroxofficequemgr, which seems to take the same command-line arguments, but when I try to use it to create a queue in the same way, it generates errors like these in /tmp/XeroxOfficequemgr.log :
14:15:21 - ERROR/Quemgr: CreateNewQueue() - Couldn't find PPDName From Admin DB
14:15:21 - FATAL/Quemgr(): PPD File undefined for the Target Queue
14:15:21 - Quemgr: EntryQueue() - Couldn't able to fetch PPD to create Queue
14:15:21 - ERROR/Translations: Missing translation: "Creating Print Queue"
14:15:21 - ERROR/OSInterface: addNewQueue() - Missing queue script
Terminating logging facility
What am I missing? The software is XeroxOfficePrtDrv-5.20.661.4684-1.i386 .
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.
