Hi midov-5,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. There is not a way to override the paper sensor. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hi Everyone, I have a pack of 10 items in a template.
Each item is a different size ranging from A4 to A5 and 7 different widths .
Whenever this is sent to print it stops for each item and asks for a size, we have around 50-70 packs a day to do.
We have tried these on a Workcentre 6655ix, Workcentre 5955, Altalink C8035 and a Versalink C400. and our newest aquisition is a Phaser 3330.
All do the same thing asking for paper size, even though they have different drivers. PCL16, V3, V4, Global.
The only printer that it works on is a Phaser 3435 and there are no problems with this. (Global)
Unfortunately Xerox do not support this type of device any more and dont make parts for it either.,
Is there a way of disabling the paper sensor on any of these machines so as it doesnt ask for paper sizes.
Or maybe even a different manufacturer?
And yes we have tried mixed paper output, bypass trays, custom sizes, etc.
Any help would be appreciated, and would free one member of staff up as she has to do this all day long.
Thank you
