Re: Image quality issues in blue hues

Hi,

It will be better to upload images with CMYK (separately) at 50-60% coverage so we can see on what color is the problem.

Re: Image quality issues in blue hues

Thank you for your reply Cathy, I already tried all the SIQA adjustments and on various paper, unfortunately it didn’t help :(

Re: Image quality issues in blue hues

Hello Dusset,

I would recommend starting with using the Simple Image Quality Adjustment Tools.

Thanks,

Image quality issues in blue hues

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: macOS 11 - Big Sur

Hi, I have a new PrimeLink C9070 and I am having a problem with the image quality in image areas that have blue or cyan hue in it. In those colors brighter 'spots' seem to appear and the color is very inconsistent. Any idea what could be the problem and how to solve it please? Thank you

EDIT: The thicker the stock is the more visible this gets. On image it's 270gsm - set to Heavyweight 4 (highest setting). Also visible on 148gsm papers with appropriate setting, just not as much.
