Imposition problems with Fiery for Versant 80

Product Name: Xerox Versant 80 Press
Operating System: Windows 7

We sometimes impose a booklet, save it as a PDF to our server. Then we send the imposed file back to the Fiery so that we can impose it again to get a more economical print. 3-up booklets, for example. After the last Fiery software manager update, when we try to impose the second PDF, the Fiery splits up the PDF. It seems to be removing the previous imposition. Any ideas?
