You stated this:
" I know it seems small but I am getting a lot of complaints about the two factor authentication. Does anyone know if there is a way for follow me print to not prompt for the billing code? The user can just scan their badge and release the job?"
If you don't ever type a billing code, how do you expect it to track the billing code? I answered your question, it will just release the jobs associated to the card holder, if you want to track different billing codes by said user, they need to be prompted for the code, it (the server) has no idea what code things should be applied to and will use the default that you already set.
Since you have been working this issue for a month, if people are still not happy on site you should just call Xerox for support on it.
If I uncheck the following two boxes, how will it know which billing code is associated with which user ?
System Manager >Configuration >Security and Authentication >Session Flow
deselct Prompt for billing code after user identification, and prompt for billing code at job release
Hello, all I am hoping someone has been through this in the past and can help me out. I have follow me print up and running in our enviroemnt and all of our Xerox Workcentre. It appears to be working correctly with two factor authentication. The user scans their badge enters their billing code and can release the job. I know it seems small but I am getting a lot of complaints about the two factor authentication. Does anyone know if there is a way for follow me print to not prompt for the billing code? The user can just scan their badge and release the job? I have set default billing codes on the server and it still promps. In the user guide it states to go to system manager> Devices and under the billing code drop down under the device I shouold get the optins Default, Prompt or Do Not Prompt. I only have the option for Default or Prompt, No Do not prompt option what so ever. I am really hoping someone has a solution to this. If you do please let me know
Thank you
