What worked for me (on Mac) was navigating the Finder to :
go -> computer -> mac os hdd -> private -> var -> db -> receipts
and deleting all the 'com.xerox.driver....' files you see there (Multiple)
Your Mac still has newer driver files, resetting the print system does nothing if you don't fully remove the newer driver first, so the older version can't/won't install.
Attempting to install Xerox Print Driver 3.123.0 on a iMac with Sierra 10.12.6 and Install button is grayed out.
I have reset printing system and rebooted, Install button still greyed out.
I followed the solution given in this post but no luck either. https://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/Mac-OS-X-Sierra-amp-Workcentre-7835/td-p/198674
This Mac previously had Xerox Print Driver 4.19.3 installed but print jobs were not processing with the message "job deleted due to Invalid Accounting ID". The Macs we have with Sierra 10.12.6 and Print Driver 3.123.0 have no issue printing to the WorkCentre 5755, but if they are upgraded to Print Driver 4.19.3, they are no longer able to print and generate the "job deleted due to Invalid Accounting ID" on copier. This is why I was attempting to downgrade the print driver.
System Software Version on WorkCentre 5755 is 061.132.225.18300.
Anyone have any suggestions?
