Invaild Font when trying to print Montserrat

Product Name: Xerox AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Hello,

i am having issues with users trying to print Montserrat font, it seems to only print blank pages.

at first i thought maybe the printer doesn't have the font installed, so i got the Xerox Font Management Utility and injected the font into the printer.

Now they get a error message instead of a blank page (invaildFont).

i have already tried the following:

- Changing the settings in Printer Preferences for TrueType Font to Download as softfont.

2 options

1. Attach the file to your post (or a link to it) and I will see what I can do.

2. Save as PDF and print using print as image if it still won't work

Hey Joe,

i can't seem to find a way to attach a file to the post, so here is the link to the font (i think that's what your looking for)

i have also attached a screen shot of the global print drivers we are using.

Re: Invaild Font when trying to print Montserrat

I need the file that won't print, to see what is wrong with it, I would assume the font isn't correctly embedded, and that would be solved at the design level, or possibly as simply as saving it as a pdf/x.

It isn't possible to have a font problem by using "print as image". So if you can't attach the file or host it somewhere you can link to, that will be your only choice
