Sometimes the following works:
When printing, open the printer properties.
Under "Paper" click on the down arrow and choose "other size"
Specify tabloid, and then choose "automatic scaling" under scaling options. Set landscape or portrait appropriate. Okay everything and print.
I haven't tried this from Photoshop (not an application I use), but it works in many other applications.
