Re: Jam Error 071-101, not really jammed

Hey Eric,

So I went down to the printer again and reviewed the settings. Everything should be setup to work fine. It printer 2400 sheets of label paper(Half sheet paper and Full Sheet Paper). I played around witht the settings and nothing changed the results except for one thing. When I loaded the paper into the bypass tray, it printed flawlessly. Again, the starnge thing here is that nothing appears to be dirty so I dont know why it cant pick this paper up and print on it. Its being reported to me that these guys have had issues with multiple different printers after a little bit of time. Is there somewhere that I should be looking for some sort of buildup?

Re: Jam Error 071-101, not really jammed

What paper are you trying to print on and what size is the paper tray set for? It's possible the printer is trying to print on paper that isn't in the tray, which could be causing the jam errors.

bye for now.

Jam Error 071-101, not really jammed

Product Name: VersaLink B400 Printer
Operating System: Not Specified

Hey Guys,

I have a printer that worked for a couple months just fine. About a month ago it started "Jamming" right before it entered the area where the printer puts the ink on it. I have checked everything out and it doesnt look like anything is really dirty. I am thinking maybe it is a sensor that is saying its jammed, or maybe it is actually technically jamming? The paper that I pull out does look a tad wrinkled but nothing crazy. Like I said, the paper seems to be making it up to the second set of rollers right before the ink area. Any ideas on what I should check?
