Tried cleaning all the colour units still pretty much the same issue seems to be yellow

Wiped that one off and the lines not that bad

We'll try to open them on the weekend and try again In fact I'm trying to get at least two units shipped to me before the weekend.

Re: Lines in prints on CMY

he yellow developer housing was the last one I changed out

The magenta we bought one and for some reason it's either not spinning so it's making a loud nise in the machine.

So for best solutions what are we to do?

Re: Lines in prints on CMY

Joe,

In your case was about blowing up the toner to ROS windows and that's why the tech put the tape on the developer housings, but for digitalprintplus is about debris in the developer housings that makes the developer brush to be without developer and toner.

Re: Lines in prints on CMY

Hi,

Let's wait to replace the magenta and cyan developer. And in the yellow developer housing it looks like are some debris. You must empty the Y developer housing of developer material and flush the developer material with something with very small holes (like a lady's stockings)

Re: Lines in prints on CMY

I'm really not a hardware guy, but back a few years ago we had a C75 doing pretty similar, swapping the drums around did not fix it, and there was no visible damage on the fuser. Local tech came in and useed scotch tape to fix it, and it (the tape) is still there. Give it a go on yours unless Dave or Gabiene come in with a better option.

I have no idea why it works, but it did for us, it just goes as seen in the below to the right of each drum

Hi guys please check out the pic

I ran a drum test dont' knwo why I'm getting lines in print, all drums new except for Cyan, that is being changed in two days wehn it arrives. The developer unit is new in yellow , boght a magenta but it was defective so waiting on the magenta and cyan replacements to come in.

Just don't knwo why this is happened and very prevalent in our darker colour prints, espectially photos
