I recently purchased a Versalink C8000 to print greetings cards. I'm having issues with printing block colours, mainly blues and pinks - they print with faint lines. I haven't noticed any issues with printing my designs other than this, anything with detail prints fine, it's just larger areas of similar colours which are printing with the lines. I've also noticed that whilst I can get other colours bright, it's really difficult to get any pink or blue colours as a bright tone for the cards, but I'm unsure if this is just part of printing with CMYK. I chose the C8000 as it mentions excellent print quality and shows printing photos etc on the videos, so am surprised that it prints this way from brand new.
