Hi all, I would like to keep my Phaser 6010 in service for many years. To do that, I need to hook it up on USB to a Raspberry Pi running CUPS, which will act as print server. The issue: I can't seem to find the right driver.
I have found the PPD file for Raspberry Pi OS, and that would be great if it a) were in English b) could print anything (it doesn't, even though CUPS sees the Phaser). Any advice or help is appreciated!
Hi @Spikie, have you tried to use the US CUPS Driver? https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/product/phaser-6010/downloads?platform=linux&category=&language=...
I don't have a RPi system up and running to test but you should be able to use the PPD from any OS if you can find it in the driver. In the past, I've pulled PPDs from the a Mac Driver and used them in Windows and other Unix based systems.
