I finally resorted to a system reset on the printer. That solved the problem, and, since I really haven't done that much customization, I got the printer back on line pretty easily. I then found a problem with GreenPrint, which I use all the time. I can't get it to select the correct printer without a manually picking the right one to print. I realize this is not your problem, but it's really annoying.
Thanks for the reply. I did try the network diagnostic, and found the printer offline. That's when I decided to just go to the system reset.
Hello txakura,
I found an article on how to preform a network diagnostics on the device this should help you figure out what the problem is.
If you are still having issues after trying these steps I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797.
The power was out for a little over 3 hours. When I tried to print - via Greenprint - after that, there was no response. A window appeared that had "Printer status is not available at this time." I can find the printer via it's TCP/IP address in a network scan, and open the printer web page in a browser, so the address seems to be OK. Looks like the problem is the printer is unable to talk to the DNS server. Any clues?
